Where to Stay on Camiguin

Beach cottages, dive resorts and boutique hideaways — which part of the island suits you, and sixteen places to book.

Camiguin has no big chain hotels. Instead you will find family-run cottages, small beach resorts, dive lodges and a handful of polished boutique places — most of them strung along the north-west coast between Mambajao and Agoho. Because the island is small, nowhere is far from anything; the question is what you want on your doorstep.

Below are the main areas, then sixteen real properties in three tiers, each linked to its Booking.com page for live prices and availability. We do not list prices per hotel because they change constantly — the bands further down are a rough guide only.

When to book

For most of the year, a week or two ahead is enough. Book well in advance for Holy Week (March/April), the Lanzones Festival in October, Christmas and New Year, and Philippine school holidays (roughly April–May), when small resorts sell out.

Practical notes

  • Many smaller places prefer cash on arrival even if booked online — check the payment terms.
  • Ask about airport or port pick-ups; many resorts arrange them for a fee.
  • Scooter rental is often available at your accommodation.
  • Power cuts happen occasionally; some resorts have generators.
